Awardees of 10th International A CAPPELLA Contest Leipzig 2017

The jurors decided not to award a first prize due to the high standards of the contest. The vocal group Soundescape received the third prize. The second prize has gone to the Octavians. They also won the audiences hearts and received the Audience Award.

The award for the best piece sung unamplified goes to Ensemble Encore. Their interpretation of Gottfried A. Homilius "Dir Elenden sollen essen" convinced Ensemble amarcord, who awarded the group with the Amarcord Special Prize.
