Award & Prizes
The total prize money to be awarded to the winners is €3,500.
The winning group will receive the Leipzig A CAPPELLA AWARD.
Prizes will also be awarded to the ensembles coming second and third.
A high-level, international jury will evaluate entrants’ technical and artistic performance as well as their stage presence.
The award-winner will appear alongside more established vocal groups at the final concert of the International
Festival of Vocal Music a cappella on 26th June 2011 and also be paid to perform its own prize-winners’ concert during the festival of the following year.

Schedule of the competition
The competition is going to take place from 23rd to 26th June 2011 in Leipzig. The competition performances on 23rd and 24th June
in the Mendelssohn Hall of the Gewandhaus Leipzig will be public, the entry is free.
